10 years post op - What can be done about the bulge on the side of my nose? (photos)

I had rhinoplasty done almost ten years ago, and whilst I love the results overall, I've had this bulge on the left side of my nostril since it was done. I brought it up with my surgeon and he said it would continue to soften. It feels like cartilage (I think)... I can push it in, but it bounces back. What is it? Can it be fixed? Could I have done something differently to avoid this?

Hello and thank you for your question. At 10 years postop, these types of asymmetries can show. This is likely asymmetry in the lower lateral Cartilage, and could be improved with a revision. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
