My eye shape has gone from almond to tired and droopy after a lower bleph. The surgeon said that she created a knot in the corner of the eye to prevent retraction and that with massage it will go away in a year (first she said a month, then 3 months but kept extending it). My eyes are different shapes, are droppy and have unsightly scar tissue near the corner, will this actually heal or do I need to get a revision.

Hi! The benefit of having surgery while you are younger is that the change is more subtle and therefore less noticeable to others. When you are older, yes, there may be a bigger benefit to the procedure, however many patients prefer to have less dramatic changes so that other's don't notice. It...

A quick and easy fix is to have a small amount of Botox injected in the muscle of the lower eylelid in the midline just below the eyelashes. Have this performed by an experienced injector only. Good luck and be well.
