PRP for hairloss, which delivery system gets better results - injecting PRP or using a dermastamp with PRP?

I want to try PRP for hairloss. Female aged 33. I have talked to different clinics and some use injection to put PRP into scalp and others use Dermastamp. Which is more effective? What questions should I ask when enquiring about PRP and what is best amount of treatments and time in between? One clinic does 6 treatment package spaced 1 month apart and another does 3 treatment package space 3 months apart.

Studies have shown that effectiveness of PRP comes from the volume of blood that is able to be injected by site rather than the depth or frequency of injections. With this in mind you would find that PRP by injection would yield more effective results. When it comes to the frequency of injections the benefits have been shown to be increased if initially administered monthly followed by a maintenance session spaced at a longer interval.

Hello, thank you for your question. I consider PRP injections into the scalp to be most effective. The amount of sessions varies for each individual, however, we find 3-6 sessions is the range in which our patients see effective results. We space each session is one month apart. Good luck!

I definitely think PRP injections are more effective than dermastamping . For signaling to occur which is what initiated follicular growth the PRP needs to get injected in the Sq region of the scalp. I suggest 4 treatments, because I’ve see good results with four.
