What is the cost for PRP for hair loss per treatment? How many treatments re recommended? Any Side Effects?

In my opinion, PRP injections should be monthly for 3 or 4 months and then a maintenance period based upon response. Prices vary per session based upon the technique used and physician. We charge $600 per 22 ml tube. We do not recommend A cell or stem cells. Since we are primarily treating androgenic alopecia, this is an ongoing therapy. Using the sub dermal Depo injection technique, side effects are minimal. It may include soreness for a few days. Find a PRP expert. Ask to see photos.

Prp is effective, but I have a very specific protocol, every 3-4 weeks for 6 months with prp therapy. I also add in progesterone to speed the healing process.  After that the injections are tailored down. You should also be on viviscal and other growth promoting ingredients. Cost will vary. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer

The cost of PRP for hair varies from region to region from city to city and even from clinic to clinic. Although you can find cheap Prices, beware. If the machine and the kit used to prepare the PRP are cheap you may pay less but you may get inferior results.
