I have been coming to NBC for a while now for fillers and dysport with Mikki (which I have been really happy with in terms of both results and pricing). During my last dysport visit I decided to have a consult with Dr Qin about what he could possibly do about the fat in my belly and hips. Dr Qin was great and gave me an examination and talked about all the options (traditional lipo, Vaser lipo, tummy tuck etc) I had and what I could expect the results to be. He also quoted me prices which were lower than other doctors I had seen. I felt he was very honest about the results I could achieve, especially as I really wanted to avoid a tummy tuck scar, and was more interested in liposuction. The clinic has the newest Vaser machine which Dr Qin told me can't replace a full tummy tuck but could tighten my skin more than normal lipo.
I did some research over the next week and called the clinic a few time to ask more questions and decided to go ahead with the Vaser lipo of my upper and lower abdomen, flanks and lower back.
I was really nervous leading up to the surgery and didn't sleep well the night before as I was freaking myself out about being awake during the surgery and pain and the results. Well that was all a waste of time! The surgery was way easier than I thought. Some discomfort at the start while I was getting numbed but no real pain and after I was numb I didn't feel any discomfort at all. Mikki chatted to me throughout my surgery which was a great distraction.
The first couple of days after surgery was the most difficult. The first day I was draining a lot of fluid which I had been told would happen and I was very tender getting up and down initially. I only had a tiny bit of bruising which was surprising! Some swelling of course which I was also told to be prepared for.
I have been wearing the compression garment for the past 4 weeks now and the swelling has been coming down gradually. I am absolutely thrilled with my results. I have a nice flat belly and my sides no longer have a muffin top! My skin has tightened up really well, much better than I expected. I am so glad I didn't get the tummy tuck with the big scar and went with the vaser! I can't wait to wear a bikini at the beach with my new body, I haven't felt confident enough to do that for years but I have already bought two new bikinis!
Dr Qin and Mikki were fantastic throughout my surgery and during all my aftercare appointments. I felt well cared for at all times and I have already recommended several friends to NBC. Vaser has been the best thing I have done for myself in years.

This review is for my second procedure with Dr Qin. I've also reviewed extended chin lipo and Botox, filler and ultraformer3 with this doctor, so please feel free to have a read of my other review.

The second procedure that I had done with Dr Qin was waist lipo. Like the chin lipo, this procedure was also done under local, but unlike the chin lipo, this time I couldn’t drive home afterwards.
There was no pain after the procedure. I think that Dr Qin just understands the human body enough to go in and do the job with as little trauma as possible.
My results were amazing.
He gave me back my hourglass shape, after having a baby. He took 600mls of fat from my waist.
For me it feels as though this doctor loves what he does and cares so much more about patient happiness above anything else. For that reason, I want him to do my tummy next, so I’m saving up for that.

I’ve had five procedures done so far and the results of every single one has surpassed my expectations.
My first procedure was neck/extended chin lipo (where the jowl/jaw area is also treated as well as the neck/under the chin).
I’m not a stranger to surgery so I wasn’t nervous about the procedure itself, but instead about having a lopsided smile due to temporary nerve injury. I mentioned this to Dr Qin on the morning of the procedure and Dr Qin advised that he understood my concerns but that it had never happened in his practice as he was very careful about identifying the location of the nerves. At that moment, I knew that everything would be fine.
The procedure was performed under local and took less than an hour all up. I was able to drive home right afterwards. He ended up taking 75mls of fat out.
My results were phenomenal.
I’d always had a heart shaped face but this had become distorted due to weight changes / pregnancy / natural aging.
Dr Qin gave me back my heart shaped face.
I actually ended up wearing the compression garment for longer than the 2 weeks recommended, because I was so scared to mess up the results!

Mikki, who I believe is the RN and clinic manager, injected some Botox and filler for me. I’ve been to a LOT of cosmetic injectors in Sydney and Mikki is the first who was able to Botox my annoyingly persistent glabella muscle properly without me having to come back for a touch up.
She did an incredible job.
Mikki also performed something called ultraformer3 which is a bit like ultherapy. I only had my jawline done. Even though the results are meant to take 3 months, after 2 weeks I could already see a massive change and lifting effect which I think really complemented the lipo.
Dr Qin also performed something called a Nefertiti lift with Botox, which is a preventative way to keep the jowl area lifted and beautiful. Again, amazing results and amazing value.

I can't recommend it enough, I really loved it!
Okay, it hurt like #&%*!! But it is worth it. Dr Qin and Mikki from Northern Beaches Cosmetic Clinic in Belrose are truly talented in their craft. They are extremely warm, reassuring and friendly, which is essential when you are putting your most precious asset in their hands. PRP injections I believe are better than the dermal fillers, it really does work wonders. Note: This procedure should only be done by highly experienced medical staff.

From the first point of contact to the follow up appointments, I have had one of the best experiences of my life. Dr Qin is a legend, he has an excellent eye for improving beauty and body contours! He makes you feel so comfortable and understands exactly what issues you want fixed. He helps you to achieve your best outcome possible. The surgery day was even so much fun, being awake for the treatment was not scary at all, we talked and I was able to ask questions and have input into my treatment. Dr Qin’s leading cosmetic nurse and Practise manager Mikki was also so so kind and caring and made the whole process so easy and comfortable. It makes all the difference to have a team looking after you that are so kind and thoughtful. I am 14 days post op for liposuction on my inner and outer thighs and lower abdomen. I was lucky to have no bruising at all and while the recovery is painful, the results were visible right from the start which makes it worth it :)
And on top of all of this, my price was so affordable!! Absolute 10/10 practice! I will be returning! Thanks so so much Dr. Qin you are a genius surgeon!!! :)

Fillers gives you subtle changes on the face. And it worth it !! But must do it by a professional person!
Im more than happy with my results by Dr Qin. (Especially comparing to my past experiences at somewhat skin clinics.)
I think its very important to find the right person to do it. Before i thought fillers can be done by any trained professional, but in fact results can also be a huge difference by using different techniques. !!!

Dr Quin is very precise, completing an analysis of his canvas before injecting into it. The natural result enhances a youthful look! Currently, he is injecting at the special rate of $279 per ml. The value for money is excellent. For example, I have paid in excess of $500 for this procedure at other practices, and the result has been terrible.
