I hate my breasts, I believe they are deformed. What procedures are recommended to create a more appealing bosom for myself. I hate my huge areola and lack of both underboob and fullness. I admire more tear drop shaped & full breasts with smaller areola and generous curve of underboob. Can this aesthetic be achieved with what I have, considering I am the opposite? I'm worried about the appearance of scarring vs the appearance of my natural breasts and if any procedure would be worth it. Thanks.
Answer: Breast lift A breast lift will provide the changes you've listed. It will shrink the areolas, lift the breast tissue and recontour the lower pole of the breast. The lift will also improve the upper pole fullness. If you want more volume than you currently have, fat grafting may be a very nice option for you. An implant will also certainly increase your volume as well. You have plenty of very good options to achieve your goals. Best wishes, Dr. Jan

Answer: The Bellesoma Lift Your breasts are too low, too lateral, you have wide cleavage and asymmetry. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. The areolas can be reduced to the size proportionate to your breasts.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Shape change? Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. It appears that you have a large amount of natural breast tissue which has sagged with time. Depending on your goal results you would best be treated with a lift to resize your areola and nipple, and to place it higher on the breast mound. Key considerations need to be made so be sure to discuss with your ASPS surgeon in great detail.

Answer: Breast Lift/Mastopexy You appear to be a good candidate for mastopexies which would reshape the breasts, reduce the size of the areola, and give them a perky appearance. If you wanted more volume, then an implant would be an option. However, in your case, due to the current shape of the breasts, you might want to consider getting implants as a second procedure. The scars are the trade-off for better shape and overall appearance. Usually the scars fade nicely and are "worth it."An in-person consultation with a plastic surgeon experienced in cosmetic breast surgery will be key to explaining your options. Thank you

Answer: Breast asymmetry Dear Helpful6133, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination but based on your photos, it looks like you might benefit from breast lift. My preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
