I hate them and have nerve pain daily! He ruined me. I still open up around areola about every 2 weeks! The MD license is suspended (no help from me) I saw another one and he said basically the plastic surgeon that performed bellesoma took off too much skin! So he can't put implant in for couple years and we are culturing next time wound opens around areola. I don't believe fat transfer would work because I'm so tight! Any ideas how to feel better about this? Wouldn't a implant stretch my skin?
Answer: Year later after Bellasoma Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I am sorry to hear of your poor outcome and healing difficulties. Unfortunately a surgical revision will not be possible until your tissues have fully healed, and I would seek out second opinions to ensure no debridement of tissue is required to speed healing. Hope this helps.

When you're ready please do an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in the procedure who can determine what is needed.I hope this helps! Answer: Year later after bellesoma, how could I fix this? Implants? Fat transfer? Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Without examining you it is difficult to be certain but based on the photos it looks like the main issue is loss of volume, which could be corrected over time with fat transfer procedures or with implants after waiting for the skin to loosen up enough to accommodate them. I would not suggest doing either until the infection is under control though. It sounds like you are with a competent surgeon now, so I would suggest following their advice. Unfortunately there often isn't a quick fix and a little tincture of time is needed. Hope that helps!

Answer: Breast lift results Dear MarineMom2015, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Daniel Barrett, MD

Answer: Bellasomas have their issues too and you are living proof. Regardless, that is water under the bridge at this point and your surgeon suggesting time and patience is very reasonable. If you're just wanting more volume and fat grafting will suffice, that could be done sooner than later and cultures should not be as important as it would be with implants. Fat will help expand tissue over time but you will likely need more than one session.
