Cheek fillers done 2 weeks ago. Puffy not natural look, is there any medication to dissolve it with no needles? (photos)

Most dermal fillers can be reversed. However this is done by injecting the product into where the filler sits. Looking at your pictures, it is important to rule out that the asymmetry  is not due to something other than fillers.

Hi Anna998, sorry to hear about your unfortunate outcome. First try to find out what kind of filler was used. If this is a hyaluronic acid type ( like Juvederm or Restylane )  then the best way to dissolve the filler is by using an enzyme hyaluronidase. Unfortunately the hyaluronidase needs to be injected. If the filler used is of a calcium base like Raddiese , PLLA like Sculptra or PMMA like Bellafill, these fillers cannot be reversed with hyaluronidase.

Hello and thank you for sharing. I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your results. To reverse the filler, we recommend injection of a component called hyaluronidase. There are ways of reducing filler to the face but they are injections. Vitrace works very quickly. You will see a difference the next day. I would have a consult with someone in your area thats highly trained in dermal fillers. Hopefully they can balance the cheeks with strategically placing filler in the face to rebalance whats already been done. Also Ultherapy can be used to "smooth out" filler in the face while promoting collegen growth and tightening the skin. Hope this helps!

You can have HA fillers dissolved but the enzyme needs to be injected by a professional. I would recommend seeing an experienced injector. Hope this helps! 

Cheek filler can be a bit of a misnomer.  What is being enhanced is actually the zygomatic arch and the malar fat pad.  The proportion of these areas to one another and to the rest of the face is extremely important.  If there is too much filler in the cheek itself, it can look puffy and "doll-like."  This can be corrected with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that dissolves the product.  The correction may take more than a visit or two if you want to preserve the hyaluronic acid that is in the correct place.  All the best,  Alexis Parker MD
