I'm 18, wondering if cheek fillers can get you high cheekbones and a model look. What procedures would you need to achieve it?

I have a chubby egg shaped face and would like to have the High cheek bond model look as well as a defined jaw line. Is that achievable ? And if so what procedures would be needed ? Thank you

Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

All facial fillers can assist in modifying these areas to your desired effect.  Some last longer than others, such as Voluma and Sculptra.  Find an experienced injector, and share your vision with them prior to injections.

The best hyaluronic acid fillers for volumizing the cheeks is the one with the highest lifting ability.  That one is currently in the US Restylane Lyft.  most younger patients have excellent results with 1-2mL of product.

Injectable fillers are an excellent way to go.  They are routinely used by models to enhance cheekbones and give definition to the face.  They are also great for getting a smooth jawline, pouty lips, etc.  Should you not like the results, you will have peace of mind that the results are not permanent; and if need be, most can quickly be dissolved with a hyaluronidase injection.

It's hard to give you specific recommendations without seeing a photo or evaluating you in person. That being said, face shape can be enhanced using a combination of Botox/Dysport and fillers. For example, cheekbone and jawline definition can be improved using a hyaluronic acid based filler like Restylane Lyft. The lower face can be slimmed by injecting Botox/Dysport into the masseter muscles. The best thing to do is schedule an in person consultation with a local aesthethic physician to discuss your concerns and to come up with an appropriate treatment plan.

Hello! You did not attach any pictures of your face, but even in patients with rounder faces, we can often enhance the appearance of the cheekbones and jawline with dermal fillers. Your physician will help you decide which fillers would work best in your case. I would use either Voluma or Radiesse.

With fillers many results are possible; high cheek bones, better defined jaw. In view of your age you should go to a doctor or surgeon who has a good reputation. You may be told to wait a while as your face changes with age. Even over the next few years it will mature and that chubby look may well disappear. Younger people are more prone to cheloids, or over-scarring, so please be cautious when choosing treatment - or not having any.
