Volume and contouring of the cheeks can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill, Contour) and Sculptra. Implants or fat are alternatives. Botox and radiofrequency can help slim and contour the jawline. Liposuction can help slim the face. Ultherapy, J Plasma and rf treatments can provide skin tightening and lift. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for the photo! It is very helpful to see what is needed in the photo. This is a goof question but there are a lot of factors that are in play. One of the main factors is that it depends on what is desired. Usually for a facelift like lift we may use a semi permanent or long lasting filler (like Sculptra, Voluma, or Bellafill) placed along the zygoma or preauricular. The amount needed of the particular filler also depends and is best determined after an in person evaluation. I hope this answers your question.
at your age, and with some early volume loss (which can be common starting in the early 30s) oft tissue fillers work wonderfully to replace the lost volume. there are several FDA approved fillers for this area. personally i like juvederm voluma or restylane lyft in this area, but radiesse and sculpta are options as well. improving cheek projection will improve your nasolabial fold. from the photos it also looks like you also have some subtle volume loss just below the corners of your mouth, and i like restylane defyne in this area, as it moves well and is very natural feeling.
I think you are a great candidate for filler treatment. I would start with Restylane Lyft into the midface/cheeks and Restylane Defyne into the laugh lines. Alternatively, Sculptra Aesthetic could be injected into the midface/cheeks. I would probably recommend you go with Sculptra Aesthetic if you are willing to give the filler time to works since Sculptra works by inducing collagen production which takes time.
You are at the perfect age to start using fillers. Looking at your pictures, you will need at least 2 fillers for the mid face ( one on each side) and 1 filler for the nasolabial area ( split on both sides) . This will give you a very natural lift . I use both Voluma or Restylane Lyft for deep midface injections. For the nasolabial folds , Restylane Defyne works well , it is soft and has the new XpresHAn Technology. In general these fillers last an average of 12-18 months.
Mid-face volume loss is very common in your 30's, but don't worry, you have options. There are several dermal fillers or Sculptra Aesthetic that can help replace the volume you have lost and add a nice lift to your mid-face. A couple good dermal fillers would be Restylane Lyft or Juvederm Voluma, you may need 2-3 syringes to get your desired results, and it should last around 1 year. The other option is Sculptra Aesthetic, which is a Poly-L lactic acid injection that helps your body regenerate collagen to slowly build volume. You will need 2 treatments (maybe 3 depending on your desired results), about 6-8 weeks apart, as Sculptra works slowly within the dermal layers. But it lasts 2-3 years once you have achieved full correction. Find a knowledgeable & experienced injector near you who can discuss these options with you and help you decide which would best suit your needs.
You would be a great candidate for fillers in your cheeks. It would take approximately two to three syringes of Voluma or Restylane Lyft for a natural result and it would last around one year. Sculptra would also be a great alternative to make your cheeks fuller. It is a slower process but would last around two years. Best, Dr. Green
I would not recommend Botox in this area of the face and am not surprised that it was not helpful. A filler can definitely be placed in this are either with a needle or a small cannula--with proper technique, vessels can be avoided. If the prior filler is what is causing the puffiness...
Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question and submitted photo. It would help to know the type of filler that was used. Properly injected (proper placement) filler does not usually "drop". There could have been some edema (fluid) in response to the injection and that could have wondered down but should...
