Thank you MD Ladie Arana-Domondon and staff for everything you do. I am extremely happy with the fillers I’ve had along with the laser treatments. MD Ladie is also my primary care provider who I trust with my care.

Thank you for your question. Prior to the obtaining the O-shot, it is important to hydrate yourself well. Make sure that you avoid any blood thinners at least a week before the procedure. Notify your provider if you have any signs of UTI or abnormal vaginal discharge to avoid any worsening of your symptoms before the O-Shot. If you have vaginal dryness, talk to your own doctor and find out if you are a candidate for topical vaginal hormone maintenance. Bioidentical E3 -Estriol are mostly topical and is the least systemically absorb that can enhance treatment of vaginal dryness in addition to the O-Shot. Ladie Arana-Domondon, MD, FACP
Microneedling a great procedure for facial texture rejuvenation. Redness is a healthy response. This is a sign of mild inflammation that is done on purpose to stimulate collagen formation and stimulate your own body's growth factors. The result is a healthy skin. I strongly advise that during this active process after the procedure, you protect your skin from the sun by wearing a sun block with high Zinc Oxide. Protect your open pores from infection by avoiding the gym or avoiding swimming for at least 7 days post procedure. I recommend applying growth factors ( like Zo Skin health growth factor) to help collagen formation. You can also apply Vit C serum ( Skin Ceutical'S CE Ferrulic) for hyperpigmentation treatment. Hello Diamondhank, Thanks for asking this question. This is a very common problem. The cause of the deep furrows in between your eyes are the contraction of the muscle under the skin causing the skin to wrinkle. If you relax the muscle , the deep lines will improve. There are instances when the lines have gotten too deep that you will need a filler . I use a very thin filler like Belotero for the deep frown lines. You have to make sure to get an expert injector as injecting the area carry certain risks. There are blood vessels underneath the forehead lines and if the filler was placed in the wrong area and too much filler was used, there could be a resulting ischemia ( blood vessels supply is cut off by compression). If there is ischemia, the skin can also be affected causing necrosis. Another rare side effect is injecting the blood vessels supplying the eye causing vision loss .These are rare side effects and can be prevented by going to an expert trusted injector. For horizontal forehead lines, if these are superficial , microneedling, chemical peels or laser treatment may help with these lines if Botox does not work. I also advise my patients to use Retinoids ( Retin A products) as part of their daily routine to help with fine lines and wrinkles. Thank you for your question. Best, Ladie Arana-Domondon, MD FACP
Hi Anna998, sorry to hear about your unfortunate outcome. First try to find out what kind of filler was used. If this is a hyaluronic acid type ( like Juvederm or Restylane ) then the best way to dissolve the filler is by using an enzyme hyaluronidase. Unfortunately the hyaluronidase needs to be injected. If the filler used is of a calcium base like Raddiese , PLLA like Sculptra or PMMA like Bellafill, these fillers cannot be reversed with hyaluronidase. Best, Ladie Arana-Domondon, MD
The brow asymmetry may be due to a natural occurrence ( without any previous Botox or neuromodulator) treatment , or due to asymmetry of the Botox placement . This problem can be corrected with careful placement of Botox to even out the brows and fillers to raise the lower brows. Other treatments used include a theadlift, ultherapy and surgical brow lift.
