Lip Lift and nose job! Which one first?

I find that it depends on what is needed, to be honest.  In some cases, rhinoplasty first, in other cases, lip lift first.  And it has to do with your lip position and its relationship to your nose, as well as what is needed when it comes to lifting.  I try and avoid central only lifts, as they cause moderate tenting of the upper lip. I do it rarely, but it depends on what the patient has and needs.  That being said, if you are expecting to have sutures and an incision from your rhinoplasty around your alar base - then do the lip lift first as you will not be altering the underlying structure prior to attempting to lift the lip and secure it.  That's just my personal recommendation based on my particular technique.  Again, it varies depending on what you need, and I would recommend ultimately going with what your doc feels comfortable with. Thank you for your question. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Keep in mind that lip lifts and enhancements are often performed at the same time as a rhinoplasty. Please post photos to this site as well.
