I had a subnasal lip lift October 2016. My lip measured 1.8cm before surgery and 5.5mm was removed. Right after surgery, my lip measured ~1.3cm. It was a skin-only lift, with internal and external sutures. It looked good initially, but 7 months later, my lip measures slightly over 1.5cm and is once again a "long" upper lip. What could have caused this degree of regression??? (The scar hasn't widened except in a small area.) I want a revision - how can I avoid this happening again?
