What treatment or picture would be best to lift the cornea of my eyes and to reduce my heavy and doing eyelids? I'm 36 years old and I'm finding it really noticeable now. Looking forward to advise on who the best person to see would be an the right treatment. Thanks!
Answer: Refreshing the Eyes Thanks for your question and for posting photos! Based on the photographs, I do not see much skin redundancy or fat protrusion in the upper eyelids. Of course, an in person examination would be needed to know for sure. I also do not notice any significant ptosis, which is drooping of the upper eyelids. You do have what is known as a negative vector, which is a slight downslanting of the corner of the eyes. This can be corrected with a canthopexy procedure. It may be possible that you also have some eyebrow ptosis. This is a drooping, or malposition, of the brows which can then make the eyelids also look heavy or drooping even though there is no problem with the eyelids itself. An in person exam should be done to assess the position of the brows and to see if you are happy with the improved appearance if the brows are manually lifted, simulating what post-surgical browlift might look like. It is possible that you may only desire a lateral, or temporal, browlift (which only raises the corner of the brow). Best to seek out the consultation of a board certified plastic surgeon, oculoplastic surgeon, or facial plastic surgeon in your area for an examination and discussion of treatment options. Answer: What an be done to lift corners of my eyes and for heavy/droopy eyelids? Thank you for your question and images. Heaviness is not necessarily a sign of ageing and I would think you probably have always had fullness in the lateral part of the upper eyelid. I find this can be challenging to treat and the lateral part of the upper eyelid contains the tear glands that are not able to be reduced in the same manner as the fat pads. Saying that a personal consultation would be the best way to assess your options and considering combination of upper eyelid surgery, brow lift and temporal lifts can soften the area.RegardsDr Guy Watts

Answer: Eyelid Surgery Thank you for your question. Eyelid surgery can correct lower eyelid drooping. This drooping can often expose the bottom of the eye, which is a serious issue. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon. Best wishes,

Answer: Brows give sad appearance and treatment? Brows give sad appearance and treatment? If lifting your brows with you hand corrects this then a vertical Browlift (Irregular Trichophytic Forehead Lift)is what you need. Try Botox first if you want.
