Can Juvederm lip injections cause or worsen autoimmune disease/problems or problems with your sight or liver function?

I have had Juvederm on 3 occasions and straight after the procedure, the lips are a little swollen, they quickly become quite swollen and tight and lumpy after a couple of hours with bruising and they look and feel very sore. I am happy with the results after 2 weeks of settling. I am wondering if any doctors believe it can cause auto immune disorders or liver or sight complications further down the line? I have had blood tests showing my liver function is abnormal and wonder if it could all be linked?

Yes, bruising and/or swelling can be typical after lip fillers. It can take 1-2 weeks for final results. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. I hope this helps!
