Dissolve filler first before scar revision?

This is a very difficult question to answer as filler can be used for scars for various purposes. The filler will not alter wound healing but as the filler dissolve, the final scar revision result may alter. It is very important to get all of your records from your injector and bring them to your surgeon (if they are not the same person). Ideally, the two doctors should discuss your case via telephone. Discuss the filler issue with your surgeon and see what she/he feels most comfortable doing. Good luck
