I absolutely HATE how my back looks! I've always thought i had the back of a man and it makes me feel so insecure to the point of literally crying. Would liposuction make my upper back match my lower?? I just want it to finally look like a normal back exactly like the second image
Answer: Liposuction of the Back hi, Liposuction of the upper and lower back is possible and can be a very effective entering tool in the right patients A full assessment of what is creating the contour issue is the key, as liposuction will address fat , not muscle bulk or bone. I hope that is of some help Jeremy hunt

Answer: Liposuction Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you are a great candidate for waistline contouring liposuction of your flanks and back. This can greatly improve your overall shape with a smaller waist. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Lipo of back Upper back liposuction can be successful if there is significant fat in that area and the surgeon suctions aggressively. This is not an easy area to suction, and liposuction results are highly surgeon dependent. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE (board certification, education, training, experience, favorable patient reviews) credentials who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Los Angeles, CA

Answer: High Definition Liposuction of the Back You would be a great candidate for high definition liposuction of the back, which could give you much greater definition. High definition liposuction is the definitive treatment, and it should ideally include these three important elements: VASER technology, PowerX liposuction cannulas, and Cool Helium Plasma skin tightening. The Cool Helium Plasma is especially effective for areas of skin redundancy that occur sometimes with liposuction. Best of luck!

Answer: Liposuction Hello and thank you for your excellent question. You are a great candidate for liposuction to your back. Of course, you will need an in-person consultation to evaluate you for this procedure. Preoperative visualization and surgical simulation with the Crisalix system may help with your decision. I suggest that you find a board-certified plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of patients who have had similar procedures. Good luck! Best, Jon Ver Halen, MD FACS Harvard educated plastic surgeon Texas “Top Doc”
