Is it possible to make your back smaller with lipo? (Photos)

Liposuction of the upper and lower back is possible and can be a very effective entering tool in the right patients
A full assessment of what is creating the contour issue is the key, as liposuction will address fat , not muscle bulk or bone.

great candidate for waistline contouring liposuction of your flanks
and back.  This can greatly improve your overall shape with a
smaller waist.  Make sure you specifically
look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this
surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.  The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

Upper back liposuction can be successful if there is significant fat in that area and the surgeon suctions aggressively.  This is not an easy area to suction, and liposuction results are highly surgeon dependent.  Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE (board certification, education, training, experience, favorable patient reviews) credentials who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year.  Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results.  Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Los Angeles, CA

You would be a great candidate for high definition liposuction of the back, which could give you much greater definition.
