Is it possible to have liposuction after having hernia mesh surgery?

Yes, it's possible to have liposuction after a hernia mesh repair surgery. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. Yes, it is possible to have liposuction after this type of surgery, but your plastic surgeon should know where the hernia was located and how the repair was done prior to proceeding with liposuction. This may dictate how he or she approaches your problem areas of fat.

I wouldn't perform lipo after a mesh. And I would not recommend a patient to do that. But this is just my personal  opinion, isn´t the rule.

As long as the hernia is fully resolved, you can have liposuction done. Keep in mind that for the best results, high definition liposuction is key. It should ideally include three important elements: VASER technology, PowerX liposuction cannnulas, and Cool Helium Plasma skin tightening.

Yes, it is possible to have liposuction after a mesh hernia repair. Of course, you will need an in-person consultation to evaluate you for this procedure.
