This will vary between practices, but it can refer to calves, ankles, flanks, etc. Price will vary due to skills, expertise and technique. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer
A "small area" in lipo usually refers to a targeted isolated area where skin tone is good. Most common areas are under the lower arms, neck, calves, ankles, back, and flanks. Price is not just based upon the term "small" area with specific dimensions. Lipo prices will fluctuate depending upon the area of the anatomy being targeted and the work necessary to remove the amount of fat the patient desires, i.e. lipo of the neck will cost less than lipo of the abdomen, buttocks or thighs. Small area liposuction is different for every MD and patient that uses that term. Often, a Plastic Surgeon may define an area as "small" if the procedure can be done in the office, under local anesthesia. Others may use the term to define a small area that can be removed at the same time as another procedure. It is best to get a clear definition from the Plastic Surgeon who is seeing you for a consultation.
There is no standard definition of "small area" for liposuction. It is best to see a plastic surgeon in person to get an idea of what it is.
Thank you for your question. There is no standard for the meaning of small area. It varies from place to place. Lipo prices vary too. Best thing is to see a board certified PS for evaluation for areas of concern and they will give a quote
In my practice a small area would be a portion of the chin (under the jaw line), a portion of the arms (inner, outer etc.). Pricing varies with Plastic Surgeons so what would be required is a consultation. At that time, your questions can be answered. I hope this helps.Dr. Dillon
Hello and thank you for your excellent question. I typically mean 1 or 2 areas of liposuction when I refer to a "small" area. Of course, you will need an in-person consultation to evaluate you for this procedure. Preoperative visualization and surgical simulation with the Crisalix system may help with your decision. I suggest that you find a board-certified plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of patients who have had similar procedures. Good luck! Many plus size women have extremely difficult time loosing weight due to multiple metabolic disorders. I have had nearly 20 years experience with large volume liposuction for plus size women. I have had many patients that went from a size 18 to a 10. If you have been able to maintain your weight...
Answer to your question is quite easy. Yes it is too high. The area you are doing is very limited and with fine cannulas quite fast to perform so lowers expense when done by experienced liposuction surgeon with st least 15 years of experience. The procedure is safest with...
