I have lost 45 kilos and have maintained my goal weight for almost a year now. I am happy with my weight loss, but I feel unfinished due to random fat deposits and loose skin. Can I safely have a healthy baby after a full body lift, or should I wait until I'm finished having children? A couple of people have told me they had babies after this procedure and their babies were small and came early.
Answer: Evaluating Thigh Lift as the Optimal Solution for Thigh Contouring Thank you for your question regarding the best treatment option for your thighs. After carefully examining your pictures and considering your age, I concur that a thigh lift seems to be the most suitable choice. Your photos indicate a significant presence of excess skin with poor recoil potential, which suggests that liposuction alone might not yield the desired results. In fact, liposuction could potentially exacerbate the appearance of loose skin, as the skin is unlikely to "shrink wrap" effectively around the newly contoured legs. Therefore, a thigh lift, rather than liposuction, is recommended. Thigh lift surgery comes in various forms, including crescent, modified longitudinal, vertical, and lateral thigh lifts. Given your specific case, where there is excess skin and fat extending to the knee, an incision running from the groin to the knee would be advisable. This approach is likely to provide the most comprehensive and satisfactory outcome. Opting for a more limited incision, such as a crescent lift high in the groin, might leave you with residual loose skin around the knee, which wouldn't achieve the best possible results. For a thorough evaluation and to ensure optimal results, please consult with an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in body contouring procedures. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Can I have a baby after a full body lift? Thanks so much for the opportunity to answer this question. Having a child after body lift surgery and tummy tuck has been done. I am not aware of any reports of small children.Timing is important and having a baby after body contouring surgery, may change your figure to the point that you will need another body contouring procedure to tighten things back up after childbirth. This is why lots of people wait until they're completely done having kids before major body surgery.I suggest you discuss your plans with an appropriately certified plastic surgeon. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)

Answer: Pregnancy and body lift hi!! You can have a body lift with no problems to your next pregnancy. Stitching and muscle repair will give up with babys growing. Eventually you will have stretch marks and more excess skin. We have done numerous body lifts and patients eventually get pregnant. Neither have had problems. Thank you!! Dr C.

Answer: Baby after bodylift Hi. Yes, you can have a baby after a body lift, and there is no reason for there to be any problem with this. One thing you should consider though, is that your skin may stretch after the pregnancy, and you may lose some of the contour improvements the bodylift achieved, and may need another surgery. Regards, Dr Steve Merten, Sydney

Answer: Tummy Hi, thanks for sharing your concern and photos with us! First I want to congratulate you for making this important decision. Deciding to get an aesthetic procedure to change your body and get a new life style is a big step! Looking at your photos I might say that you´ll be a great candidate to get an entire back, waist and flanks liposuction, with BBL, and tummy tuck, this is because all the extra skin located in this areas plus your abdominal muscle needs to be repaired. Before all this, of course, you need to get a complete medical evaluation and laboratory exams to check everything is fine. For us your safety, always, is going to be first. Have a great day! Dr. JPG
