PRP and Sarcoidosis disease, is it dangerous?

Hi! Is it in any way dangerous to undergo the PRP procedure if I have sarcoidosis desease? What side effects could I get? Thanks in advance

There has been a report of sarcoidosis appearing in areas where PRP was injected for skin wrinkles. I do not know what area you plan on treating, however I would avoid using PRP if you have sarcoidosis.PRPHAIRMD.COM

Thank you for your question!
No one knows if the stimulation of PRP causes a Sarcoid reaction in the skin at the site of injections.  It is known that Sarcoid appears in scars from trauma but the PRP concentrates stimulatory hormones that may or may not work for or against Sarcoid in the skin.
