I am 11 days post op, 2.5 lb (total) anchor reduction and for the most part am very happy with my results. Due to the amount of excess tissue under my arms, I asked to have the incisions extend to remove as much as possible. (I wasn't really concerned with the scarring). I'm now wondering if I should have added lipo as well. (I did this through insurance so lipo was extra). At this point, considering I didn't have drains, how much may be swelling versus fat?

There are pros and cons of removing areas of fat necrosis. At this stage massage and possible deep lymphatic massage would be of benefit. I wouldn't consider anything for 12 months and best to ask your PS for advice on massage etc.
Thanks so much for reaching out. Chronic pain is rare but is possible. This far out from surgery I would recommend seeing a pain specialist. They would be able to come up with the best plan to treat your chronic pain.I hope this helps :)
I concur with your nurses. 3 weeks is the minimum, with a full month being preferable. Please continue to avoid lifting anything over a few pounds (be sure to get help with your luggage). As always, don’t push yourself even if you’re past the month mark. If something doesn’t feel right or is ex...
