Can a dark semi-circle over one of my eyes be corrected? (photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thanks for your question.  By your photo there does not appear to be any ptosis.  The right side seems to have more tissue weighing down the lids.  A blepharoplasty on both sides should even this out.

Best of luck.

I’m 31 and am conscious of excess eyelid skin/droopy brows. How can I look less tired - is surgery necessary? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thanks for your question.  Your picture shows a number of things that would have a noninvasive option.  The left brow sits slightly lower than the right and is a little flatter.  There are also a number of "smile lines" present.  Some Botox beneath the brow and in the smile lines would address these.  A topical hyaluronic acid would help with some of the lower eyelid crepiness.  The excess of the upper eyelids is minimal but the lash line on the left is lower than the right.  The only way to remedy that would be to surgically tighten that tissue.

I hope that helps.

Best of luck.

Are my lips over done? How long does Juvederm XC last in the lips until they go down? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thanks for your question.  It seems that rather than the lips being overdone the placement is not ideal.  There appears to be more of the filler above the 'Cupid's Bow" or lip line .  I would not try to dissolve this.  If anything, a little gentle massage of the lip might help but I would not be very aggressive.  A consultation with an experienced provider is always recommended.

Best of luck.

I had a breast enlargement. What is this line under my left breast? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thanks for your question.  The line is referred to as a "double bubble" sign.  It usually comes from the implant displacing downward.  Repairing it requires tacking the crease back down (a surgical procedure).  The other option is to do nothing.  It is possible that there will be no further change.

Best of luck.

One breast bigger than the other after breast reduction? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thanks for the photos.  You are absolutely right.  There is asymmetry.  I would wait a minimum of three months for all surgical changes to settle down.  A revision, however, seems likely.

Best of luck.

Dismally unhappy with BA results, will bigger be better? 11 weeks post op. 275cc textured gel, under muscle. (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thanks for your question  and for including the photos.  The nipple height and breast shape were different to begin with.  The implants have just magnified that difference.  A small lift on the left would help that.  I agree that if you want a rounder shape that a larger implant will be required.  I might also consider placing the implant above the muscle to achieve a higher position.

Best of luck.

How much is swelling versus underarm fat? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thanks for your question.  Comparing the before and after photos the area appears improved.  However, it is still very early and a good bit of what you see could be swelling.  It may take 6 weeks to several months for all of that to resolve.  At this point I would think that patience would be the best advice.

Best of luck.

Breast reduction. Is vertical scar reduction applicable for me? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

From your pictures it would seem that a vertical scar only would not be enough.   You would probably experience some "bottoming out" of the breasts.  An extension into the fold would help to take up the excess skin.

Best of luck.

Do my implants look symmetrical enough? 3 months post op 425cc high profile mentor unders. (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Based on the one photo it appears that symmetry of size and shape is good.  I would not be in any hurry to have additional surgery.  Remember that all procedures carry potential risks and downsides.

Best of luck.

Breast reduction/tummy tuck with muscle repair down time.

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

The most limiting aspect of your proposed surgery is the muscle repair.  Usually several weeks are need to get back towards normal.  It's important not to try to push that timetable as it can result in setbacks.

Best of luck.

Highly recommend Dr James L Moore

Excellent! He spent a good amount of time with me and seemed to know what was causing my discomfort. His staff were professional and made me feel comfortable. I believe that if I had gone to my original surgeon or any of the others I saw for 2nd opinion, the seroma cavity would still be giving me pain. I was offered by other doctors to have liposuction or another tt for removal. Dr Moore was the only one who gave me hope that it could be solved by a small invasive procedure. So glad that I found him.

Tummy Tuck, Arm Fat Removed, Boobs Lifted - Totally Worth It

Fabulous experience. Initially went for a consultation for Cool Sculpting. Wanted to do my upper arms, bra fat, tummy, inner and outer thighs. Was advised that it would work for my thighs but not elsewhere as it wasn't fat that I had but rather excessive flesh. I had RNY Gastric Bypass in 2002 and have dealt with flabby arms, belly, and now my boobs were pointing south... I did have cool sculpting on my inner and outer thighs on September 20 2017. Cool sculpting took 4 hours and I am slowly seeing results as the fat cells die and melt away. The cost for that was $2750.00 I then had brachioplasty (arms thinned), mastoplasty (boobs lifted and bra fat removed via lipo) and an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck - with lipo). All 3 procedures were performed on the same day, October 6, 2017 and took about 5 hours. The cost was $10.250. I elected to pay for an overnight stay in the hospital ($500) otherwise the cost would have been $9750. I am a little sore and just taking things slow - took 2 weeks off from work to recover. So far I am very pleased with everything as I can see that I am going to have the body I want. My arms will be thin with no flabby skin hanging - so now I can wear tank tops w/o feeling like a freak with fat arms. My belly is flat as [RS bleep] and I can't wait for spring to wear a bikini and show off washboard abs. Holy cow I should have done this surgery a decade ago. And the boobs....let me just say that I now have perky boobs...they are no longer pointing south and I don't have to fold them to put in a bra. I'm so ecstatic. Dr. Moore and all his staff are freaking wonderful! No pressure to have any surgery, they explain the procedure(s) and are honest about the results you can expect. They all seem to truly care about each patient and take their time talking with you and answering any questions. I don't plan on having any further surgeries, but if I did I would definitely use Dr. Moore.

42 Year Old Breastfed 2 Kids 10 Years Apart Delivered Via C Section - Georgia, GA

I'm having what my PS is referring to as a C section scar revision or a mini mini tummy tuck plus belly button piercing scar revision, breast augmentation with 225 cc gummy bear implants (not sure which brand) and a vertical (lollipop incision) breast lift on Friday April 14th. I had my 18 year old when I was 24 and ended up having the hanging flap of skin apron thingy. My boobs were still ok despite being small. After having my 2nd child in 2009 and breastfeeding again my boobs got bigger but saggy and deflated. I've been obsessing over my stomach and researching procedures for 17 years and almost as many about breast augmentation. But one day 2 weeks ago I just up and decided to make a consultation appointment with a great PS in town. Last week I had the appointment and decided to go ahead and schedule the procedure for my tummy for April 14th. He was going to be out of town and I wouldn't have been able to schedule until towards the end of May. I have had 3 consultations with 3 others doctors over the years and never went back after the consultation. I felt like I should just do it before I backed out again! My pre op appointment was yesterday. I woke up in the morning and decided if I'm going under I should go ahead and get my boobs done or I would probably regret it. So they re worked all the figures and the pre op info. It's happening so fast! I have never had anesthesia where I was put under or even conscious sedation. My C sections were done with spinal blocks. I have to say that this would be the biggest source of worry for me. I'm really not thinking about it too much on purpose. I feel like I have done so much research over the years that if I do too much now I might get really nervous and anxious. I do want to be prepared though. I'm starting to feel a little excited but I'm still processing that this is happening!

Absolutely the best experience!

Dr Moore and Susan (RN) have exceeded my expectations by a landslide. I was extremely nervous going in the first time but Dr Moore is extremely thorough and kind. Susan is witty and fun. They make you feel so comfortable that after a few visits, you feel like you're family. Susan made it extremely easy to schedule my procedure and from consult to surgery day to follow-up appointments, everything has been seamless. Most importantly, my 3 week post-op results are better than I ever could have imagined. I highly recommend The Moore Center and I promise, they did NOT pay me to say that! Thank you, Dr. Moore & Susan....you guys are the best!
