Will my swelling/nasolabial fold become even like the other side of my cheek? Or has all swelling gone now?

Question

I had jaw line, cheekbone reduction and chin graft along with accusculpt laser Lipo on my cheeks in April 2018. I'm concerned that 1 side of my face still looks more swollen than the other. I did have a seroma on the right side of my cheek which has thankfully gone now but I'm still worried about the uneven swelling, will my cheek eventually be the same as the other side.

I would discuss this with your surgeon, but a few things to talk about with them:are you sleeping on one side of the face and thus irritating it into swelling more?are you still wearing your compression wrap at night? Should you be?are there signs of infection? seroma?best of luck!

It is definitely hard to wait for all the swelling to go away.Most healing happens with in the first 3-6months.Talk with your surgeon about your concerns.Best. Dr Brecht
