I had Restylane 0,5 ml injected into my lips. There was bruising on the right upper lip. Now the hematoma is gone, but I can se and feel a small lump on the right side. Is there something I could do to improve the situation? I m not too keen in injecting hyluronidase, at least yet. Are there any chances there is still some swelling because of the hematoma?
Answer: Asymmetrical Lips after Restylane There can be asymmetrical swelling after lip injections. It can take 1-2 weeks for final results. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. I hope this helps!

Answer: I would advise waiting about a week after all the bruising has gone. Unwanted volume can be adjusted with direct digital pressure by an experienced injector (that means don't to it yourself). If that is not adequate, it can easily be removed with an injection of hyaluronidase, the enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid filler.

Answer: Asymmetrical Lips after Restylane Thank you for your question. It is too early to determine what your final results will be. It is common to have asymmetrical swelling after lip injections which can take up to 2 weeks to fully resolve. If you are unhappy with your final results you can have the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase. If it is after 2 weeks I recommend having a follow up with your injector. Best of Luck!

Answer: It is possible this could still be due to swelling. Hi there. How long has it been since your initial injections? It could be possible that you’re still dealing with some swelling, in which case you could wait a few more days to see if you notice any improvements. Otherwise, talk to your provider about the possibility of dissolving the hyaluronic acid to smooth away the bump. I hope this helps!

Answer: Asymmetrical Lips after Fillers Thank you for your question, Depending on when you received your lip fillers, there might be a concentration of filler in the area. I would wait a full two weeks to see if results improve. If they do not, I would recommend scheduling a follow-up appointment with your injector. They will either suggest a hylauronidase or more filler treatment to achieve your desired results. Best of luck.
