Are TCA peel for fine crows feet and nasolabial folds?

One of my daughters-in-law was about twenty when I first started treating her early crow's feet with Botox injections (actually Dysport, another related wrinkle relaxer). Early smile line formation (laugh lines) can respond well to injection of Restylane Lyft (which I would use in my Upper East Side Manhattan office) or Hyaluronica 2, my preference in my Israel satellite office where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved fillers are available). There is a growing body of evidence that early intervention with wrinkle relaxers and fillers may not only forestall further deterioration with time, but over a lifetime may actually result in the fewer treatments and lesser amounts of them over a lifetime.TCA peels, especially in the 10-25% concentrations typically used for minor problems, are best reserved for improving tone and texture problems. 

At your age I would start with simple ABCs of skin care- namely vitamin A (Retin A, retinoid), Vitamin B and C as an antioxidant. Gentle laser like PIcosure Focus or 1064 yag can help, .... TCA? I would only use 8-10% to the crows feet. TCA at this strength will not help with your nasolabial folds. Consider fillers such as Restylane or Juvderm. In summary- combination treatments at your age for the best result. Dr Davin Lim 

I would probably recommend  some Retin A for one so young.    There are many silly do nothing peels out there so if you seek you will find.   Don't waste your money on weak silly do nothing peels.   A TCA peel does do good things and can diminish fine lines and even deeper lines at stronger doses.   I still think a Retin A course would be best.  See a dermatologist in your area.  And remember do not waste you hard earned cash on do nothing procedures of which there are many.   My Best,  Dr Commons
