This is an acne scar on my stomach from an old cyst. Ive had it for two years. It doesnt hurt but its rock hard and hyperpigmented. Black in color. Will a chemical peel smooth the damaged skin out ? And maybe dissolve the scar tissue ? What could help me ?
Will my face get irritated? Ive read people get irritation and break outs when they use exfoliants 1 month after co2 laser, that being said, I have 3 more session is CO2 laser and I want to go to a different clinic for TCA cross because its really hard to find that treatment here in UAE. Its been 2 weeks since my CO2 and I have slightly pink skin with lots of acne but not on my scars, next time I do CO2 Ill only do it on my scars,y skin feels softer but the pitted scars are still very visible and I have wide pores
I have small ice pick scars all over my cheeks that haven't really responded to microneedling and fractional co2. Would I be a good candidate for TCA cross or alternatively what procedures might help with these ice pick scars? Also I'm not sure if I have scarring or large pores around my nose area? Thank you!
Mistake #1- I did this at home with 30% TCA. The photo to the left is the before and on the right is where you can see two very dilated atrophic scars. It's only been 8 days, but I'm concerned the affects are irreversible. I've been getting amazing results with TCA peels, but I decided to try the cross method which I'm thinking was a mistake. If I continue with regular peels, would this perhaps go back to the way it was eventually?
Age: 36 gender: female non-smoker -had a hydrofacial done 2 weeks ago and started skin care routine: -double wash -toner -cocokind barrier serum -trenitonin 0.1 percent -cocokind moisturizer with polypeptides Plan: my skincare lady said to continue this routine and we will do a 3 step ZO peel in 4 weeks. Any thoughts? Would TCA cross peel be more beneficial for me? Or recommend anything different? I'm most concerned about the texture and large pores. Thanks so much!
I have done a TCA peel and got a redness on my face, mainly in patches between my brows, on and around my nose, chin and neck. There is a spot where the TCA peel dripped a bit and you can still see where because i have 2 red stripes on my neck. So i was wondering if this will ever go away? And if not what can i do and is it safe to do other procedures? Also can doing another TCA peel help reduce my redness that i got from this one?
Hi, Next month I will have my first 12,5% TCA treatment. What about the pre-treatment with exfoliating and glycolic cream? Does it make the peeling safer or just more dangerous? Will the exfoliating and glycolic cream the skin more or less prone to burnings and hyperpigmentation? Thanx
