Question

So it burned me and I now have a light pink scar or hypopigmentation across Entire forehead.it has not improved in the 9 months.will the colour ever come back or am I stuck like this for life?

Hypopigmentation is very difficult to treat, but possible.  I would suggest some light chemical peels, directed fractional laser, and topical skincare to help even out the color and texture. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles

This appears to have permanent hypopigmentation.  I have improved this with fractional lasers like fraxel very low dose or clear + brilliant and microneedling.  This is a very delicate situation, you should consider seeing a laser and scarring expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Treatment of burn scars after TCA , and pigmentation changes will take a long time to treat. and may require more peels and or lasers to improve. Applying a potent acid is not like applying makeup. It requires great expertise and the learning curve is steep even for plastic surgeons and dermatologists.
