I'm 41 years old and have had FUE about a month ago. I already decided to have another transplant due to the fact that we only transplanted my hairline and did nothing to my temple points which i don't have anymore because of hair loss. How do i need to think/measure so that they will have the right position? i don't want to rebuild them completely. I want them to look somewhat receded so that they look appropriate for my age

Temporal  peaks are placed  projection of the  most  lateral  point of  eye...I  personall y  just  follow  the  route  and  alignment  of  preexisting  hair  in order  to  create  the  new  frontal  hair  line  and  temples..  So it is  the  important  point  that  to  find  an experienced  surgeon..  But  ıf you  have an  idea  about  the  place  of  temporal  point (not the temporal  peak)  : The  lateral temporal  point  exist  in  intersection  of  2  lines  , one  pass  through  between  tip  of  the  nose  and  pupil  of  eyes  and  another  line  passes  between  earlobe  and  midpoint  of  frontal  hair line  ..

Filling in the temple points is often important in a good hair transplant. If, as you say, you don't have temple points anymore then you likely would benefit from adding temple points to balance with your newly transplanted hairline. An experienced hair transplant surgeon should be able to help you determine what you need.

Temple points can be very important in the aesthetic redesign of the male hairline. The good news is that a skilled surgeon will have the skill to know how to design the temple points and this is not something you will need to measure.

You would have to post photos of your frontal hairline including what you have now for your temple points. This is an art form and temple points differ considerably in people so a transplant to alter your temple points is done as a negotiation with your surgeon
