Has anyone done a successful procedure for a patient on immunosuppressive medication?

Hi, I've looked into hair transplant extensively and spoken to a few clinics and dr's at length, but has anyone done a successful procedure for a patient on immunosuppressive medication ie I'm currently taking 10mg methotrexate weekly & humira. Not sure if this would affect the success of a HT/ growth? Only methotrexate is supposed to cause hair loss. Humira not so. An option is I could stop the metho for 3 months post op.

I have  done  hair  ttransplant  surgery   who  had kidney  transplant  and  under  immuno  suppresive  medication with  a good result . He had  not  have  any  prblem about  follicular growth

Hello and thank yo for your question. Personally I have never had a patient on methotrexate while getting a hair transplant. That being said, I dont know of any negative interactions that would occur. I would talk to the surgeon who will be doing your transplant for his/her opinion. Best wishes.

I had a hair transplant while on the drug methotrexate with good growth and no problems with healing nor infection.
