Dr Bonaros is amongst the very few surgeons in the hair transplantation field that I have met from across the world that are genuinely interested in the patients long term results. He is very honest, professional, courteous, and knowledgable. I would highly recommend him to anyone serious about finding a patient and results focused surgeon who takes pride in his work.

Your surgery may have triggered telogen Effluvium. Other causes, such as traction alopecia and female pattern baldness, may contribute to your hair loss. I suggest you schedule an appointment with an experienced hair restoration surgeon. He should be able to make a diagnosis and advise you on your best treatment options.
Alopecia traction and Telogen Effluvium can both lead to reversible hair loss. The regrowth of your hair will be permanent as long as none of the causes is present. You should be able to get advice on this from the doctor who made the diagnosis.
Male pattern baldness is not caused by whey protein and amino acids. It is a combination of genetic and hormonal factors that causes the latter.
Isotretinoin does not cause hair loss very often. In a meta-analysis published in 2022, hair loss was observed in 3–6% of patients taking low doses of isotretinoin. The more Accutane is taken and the longer it is taken, the more hair loss may occur.Hair thinning or loss can be caused by Accutane (isotretinoin) due to its effect on the hair cycle, the increase in vitamin A, as well as the suppression of sebum production.
Metformin does not cause hair loss, according to significant scientific research. Taking metformin for a long time may cause hair loss indirectly due to anaemia, according to a study conducted in 2016.Metformin treats diabetes type 2 and PCOS, both known causes of hair loss. In addition, it appears to lower testosterone, thus preventing male pattern baldness.
