To formalise some terms- yes, this will result in PIH however at day TWO post peel, the enzymatic effect of TCA peel will result in some pigmentation. PIH as the name suggest is post inflammatory. In this case, inflammation is present histologically but not in the time frame to call this PIH. The argument is mute as you will have at least a 95% chance that PIH will result. Additionally there is marked 'spill over' of the acid. Scarring is an ever present danger in the short to medium term. Please see a specialist to reduce or possibly prevent scars.
