Yes, this will more than likely scar. The scar will be 50-100 times the total surface area you were attempting to treat . You can minimise the scar by seeing a plastic surgeon or dermatologist. They will 1. Dress the wound, take swabs 2. Cover you against infection 3. Remove any necrotic eschar from the base 4. Wait 3-7 weeks for granulation tissue 5. See you 2-3 x a week till this total heals. 6. Use silicone dressings, post closure 7. Consider Vascular laser in a few weeks 8. More than likely excise the scar 9. Cover the wound bed with a FTSG. 10. Revise the FTSG graft! with factional Co2 or erbium laser 11. Redress the area and wait for total wound healing 12.
