I had restylane injected in my lips six days ago, the swelling has gone down and they look good. However, my lips are hard around the vermillion border (where I had the injections), and when I press down on that area it hurts a bit. Will this go away and in how long? Is there any way of resolving this without using hyaluronidase?

Answer: Hard Lips After Restylane. Any Suggestions?
Hi @kathhayes! Swelling can take up to two weeks to subside. If you are unhappy with the results, you can dissolve the filler with Hyaluronidase. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Hi @Tamaswingstar! I would recommend avoiding vigorous exercise after receiving dermal fillers and neuromodulators like Botox or Dysport. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
The Tyndall effect is a blue coloration due to scattering of light from the filler. This does not look like that and it is most likely increased pigment due to the bruising and may not go away without some treatment--be sure you are seeing a board certified dermatoligist or plastic surgeon
