Is it possible that Restylane migrated around my eye socket & into my upper lids? & if so, what can be done about it? (Photo)

Hi @MamaPhD. This would be highly unlikely. I have not seen filler migrate from the under eye area to the upper eyelid. I would recommend returning to your injector. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

It is extremely rare to have fillers migrate upward, let a lone at all if injected properly.  I suggest speaking to your physician.  Best, Dr. Emer.

This would be highly unusual. I have not seen an appreciable amount of filler migrate from the undereye area to the upper eyelid. It might be helpful to return to your physician injector and compare before and after photos. If there is a significant difference it is most likely related to swelling and should resolve. Hi MamaPhD, in my experience, it would be exceedingly unusual for Restylane to migrate to the upper eyelids. It may be an inflammatory response that should settle in a few days. Providing before pictures would be very helpful.

It is very unlikely that Restylane has done this and the most likely scenario is simply swelling from having injhections of a material in the area of the eyes. Return to your doctor and see what he thinks and what can be done

It is extraordinarily unlikely that the filler migrated. It is much likelier that there is a low-level inflammatory response due to the injections, and that the upper eyelids are participating as they sometimes do when anything happens to the lower lid (and vice-versa). The eyelids are just extremely accepting of fluid causing swelling, and don't put up much of a fight. Many people get swollen eyelids just from lying down. I would fully expect the swelling to resolve in the next 2 weeks. If not, return to your injector for an examination and recommendations.
