I lost my hymen a few days ago and I hope to recover. I want to know if the surgery will be risky
The surgery is much like any other surgery in that there is always some risk. Hymenoplasty in itself is not a dangerous procedure and we do it under local anesthetic at our Spa so it does not carry the same risk as general surgery. The procedure can be tricky because you are working with millimeters of tissue but a trained cosmetic gynecologist should be able to achieve the desired outcome with little risk. I hope this helps.
A hymenoplasty is a safe in office procedure. There is very minimal bleeding after the procedure. A numbing medication is used for the anesthesia. The procedure is does not take very long to perform.
