CoolSculpting for chin / submental area: 1 or 2 applications?

For fat localized to the sub mental chin, a single applicator per session may be required.  If there is significant fat more laterally in the neck, 2 or 3 overlapping applicators may be required to produce the optimal result. I would visit with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss what is best for you.

There is no way to accurately answer your question without pictures or an in-person evaluation as it depends on the amount and distribution of fat under your chin. We will sometimes use a single applicator or two applicators to treat the double chin, depending on what we find on examination. Either way, most people need 2-3 rounds of treatment for optimal results. Make sure you are under the care of an experienced provider. Best wishes.
