While it's always best to be seen in person, your photos show that you are a good candidate for rhinoplasty and a small chin implant. Rhinoplasty can make your nose a bit smaller and can derotate it some. The chin implant will help balance your side profile so it will line up nicer. Your midface may be a bit shallow which can be improved with fat transfer. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.
Hello and thank you for your question and the pictures. Addressing the shape of your nose (especially the nasal tip) is actually one of the most common reasons people seek out and undergo a rhinoplasty. An open septorhinoplasty can best address both your aesthetic concerns and any functional issues with your nose. I would be able to adjust the size, shape, and definition of your nose (particularly the bridge and the tip)!It also appears you have a "weak chin" relative to the rest of your facial features, which is why you probably feel like your facial features are "imbalanced." The best way to properly address this is with a chin implant to improve the overall harmony of your facial features, especially from your side profile. It's actually pretty common to need both procedures instead of just the rhinoplasty!Rhinoplasty truly is a surgery of millimeters- and whether you're looking for a minor adjustment or a major transformation, it requires exceptional surgical skill to achieve functional and natural-looking results! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). I also trained under a world-renowned master of complex facial aesthetics!I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with both rhinoplasties and chin implants) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. I hope this helps!Dr. Donald GrovesAesthetic Plastic Surgeon
I would recommend a rhinoplasty. I would find an American Board of Plastic Surgery Certified Plastic Surgeon with experience in rhinoplasty, preferably one who has also completed a fellowship with The Aesthetic Society.
Thank you for your pictures. I recommend you rhinoplasty with chin implant. This combination will ensure your results creating a beautiful facial balance with all features.
Based on your photos, the lower 1/3 of your face is short on front of you, and you appear to have a recessive chin appearance on profile. In my opinion, depending on your examination, chin implant surgery may be the best way to improve your facial balance - with very little downtime and relatively low expense. You're relatively weak chin projection is the reason that your nose appears large. It is not.Chin implant procedures can be performed with local anesthetic in the office. Sutures are removed in one week, and no special appliances are necessary. I hope this helps you! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
Thank you for your question. You are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty and agree with your assessment. Additionally, I would consider a small chin implant. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.
You would benefit from a rhinoplasty to refine the tip. You would also benefit from a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You would also benefit from a chin implant. You may also benefit from a brow lift. This can be done to just lower your hairline and not raise your eyebrows.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Thank you for your inquiry! We would love to meet with you in person or virtually to discuss your surgical and non-surgical options. Schedule a consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to help you reach your goals.
Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you are a good candidate for a rhinoplasty. Maneuvers for your surgery would include tip deprojection, tip de-rotation, dorsal hump reduction, tip refinement, among other maneuvers. A chin implant could be performed at the dame to add balance to your lower face. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Based on these photos it appears that chin augmentation and conservative rhinoplasty would be a good choice to start with( possibly cheek augmentation with implants or fat grafts. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in these procedures would help to clarify your options. Good luck.
If you are overall happy with the appearance of and function of your nose after rhinoplasty surgery, it is unlikely that you have any type of nerve damage. The most common neurological complaint after rhinoplasty is numbness of the lower 1/3 of the nose, and that tends to get better on just...
It's good that you have been pleased with your previous treatment, and I do not believe rhinoplasty surgery would affect them. We have seen many people that have had an unnatural look to their philtral columns of the upper lip after injectable fillers. Hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
If somebody has a bony dorsal hump, removal of the bump will cause widening of the nose. This necessitates osteotomies to narrow the nasal appearance. When this is performed properly, bumps do not return. I hope this answers your question. Sincerely Dr. Joseph
