Wondering if I need to avoid filler in my philtrum ridges before rhinoplasty?

When I get lip filler done my injector usually puts some in my philtrum ridges and I love the look, I'm just wondering if I should be avoiding filler so close to my nose before rhinoplasty?

It's good that you have been pleased with your previous treatment, and I do not believe rhinoplasty surgery would affect them. We have seen many people that have had an unnatural look to their philtral columns of the upper lip after injectable fillers. Hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Although I am not into using filler I see no problem with getting it ahead of time but your surgeon may disagree. So just follow your surgeon’s instructions

It is Much more important to choose your rhinoplasty surgeon very wisely based on extensive experience producing natural results. Study your prospective rhinoplasty specialist's before and after photo gallery, and make sure that it is extensive. Digital computer imaging is also helpful as well.
