Surgery cost to fix umbilical hernia and diastasis recti? (Photo)

You can seek consultation with a general surgeon.  There are surgeons that specialize in hernia repairs.  You could also have a tummy tuck with repair of the diastasis and hernia which would give you a better cosmetic result.

You have options. You can see a general surgeon, or plastic surgeon, and just have the hernia fixed, and insurance should cover it. Option two would be to have the hernia and diastasis repaired, and insurance may or may not cover the diastasis.The third option is to have an abdominoplasty and have the hernia, repair and diastasis fixed as part of the abdominoplasty. Our charge for abdominoplasty, which would include the repairs you need,  is $5800 total including anesthesia and surgery center.

Your umbilical hernia is of the size that I would recommend it be evaluated by a General Surgeon. Since the hernia is painful I would have it evaluated soon. Also, you can consult with a Plastic Surgeon in reference to the diastasis  recti. There is a strong possibility of having the hernia repaired at the same time as a tummy tuck. Your two surgeons would discuss this and come up with a plan for you.
