Is this scar healing normally? (Photo)

Question

Hi, would like y'all's input please. Do I need a new CG, it doesn't fit properly now and it rises and it feels like it's cutting my circulation. Also how do I protect the scar over my mons, my underwear and clothes irritate it and it's painful?

Thank you for your picture.  The scar appears to be healing slowly and looks a bit irritated.  A silicone bandage would help.  I would have you PS look at your compression garment to make sure the fit is appropriate.Dr. ES

You may be wearing the garment too tight. The scar looks like it separated a small amount. See your doctor for a check up and make sure no seroma as this can also cause swelling and is very common.

Hi Peanut.It is hard for me to say for sure due to the pic, but it looks like your garment is riding up.  Ask your surgeon about another garment or perhaps Spanks.The central area of the scar looks inflammed to me.  Perhaps you have some sutures that need to be removed, and again, I refer you to your surgeon.Once the inflammation is resolved, the tenderness will go away.

It looks like your scar is irritated and this may be due to the garment.  I would suggest a change to something more comfortable but still supportive.  Be sure to ask your surgeon before changing and also to be sure there isn't anything else going on beneath the scar.

I don't know if you mean a binder or a liposuction garment.  The scar can be protected with silicone sheeting.A tummy tuck can be done as a solitary procedure.  Many times the results are enhanced by adding
liposuction to the hip and love handle area. 
A tummy tuck is also done in combination with a breast augmentation in a
mommy makeover.
