do you suggest having chin fat grafting or chin implant? should I also do a cheekbone related procedure or neck liposuction?
Answer: Genioplasty I highly recommend you do not put fat into your chin. Chin implants have limits to size/shape and are semi-unpredictable. You are a good candidate for a genioplasty. This would bring your chin forward and slightly down, creating more facial balance and the projection you are looking for. It will also add length and definition to your jawline. The benefit of a genioplasty is that it lasts forever, and the whole procedure is done through the mouth, which means no external scarring. I would say a genioplasty would be the best option for you to achieve your aesthetic goal. Our office provides morph photo simulations of your expected outcome, so you have a better idea of what the result would look like. We would be happy to schedule a consultation to discuss your options further!

Answer: How a dual approach may be right for you Thank you for your question and for providing photos. You may benefit from a buccal fat removal and a chin implant to create a defined, masculine appearance. Removing the buccal fat pad can improve cheek and jawline definition while reducing a rounded appearance in the lower part of the face. Combining this procedure with the insertion of a custom-fit chin implant can further define the jawline to provide a striking, natural-looking contour. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to discuss your concerns and aesthetic goals with you to determine the best course of action.

Answer: Buccal fat pad removal If a balanced face is your goal, then I would consider buccal fat pad reduction, chin implant or sliding genioplasty, and submental and jawline liposuction. A beard does camouflage the recessive chin and lack of definition, but the above mentioned procedures would greatly improve your facial contours and definition.

Answer: Angular look If you are looking for a more chiseled and angular look to your face, then yes, a chin implant and buccal fat removal are a good way to go. Fat grafting to the chin would not be a good idea, as fat is too soft and may make your face look soft at the chin. You want the more firm look from an implant. These can both be done easily in the office as outpatient procedures.
