Thank you for your question, you might be better off doing both of these surgeries at the same time for recovery and financial reasons, consult with a board certified PS.Best of luck!
Rhinoplasty and gynecomastia surgery can actually be done together if you can find a surgeon who is good at both. If not it wold be better to separate them. I would recommend doing the gynecomastia surgery first and then about two weeks later do the rhinoplasty. This would give ou plenty of time to be around for your post op appointments and be ready to return home two weeks after the rhinoplasty. Good luck.
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. Both of theses procedures could be performed in a single operation if desired but could be staged if necessary. I would recommend your gynecomastia in the first stage and rhinoplasty in the second. Hope this helps.
Your inquiry is well received and appreciated. Both surgical procedures can be successfully performed in one sitting with a board certified plastic surgeon. Discuss with your surgeon your desire to have both surgeries performed at once and how you would need your follow up appointments to be complete before your departure. Best wishes and luck
Indeed you can get those procedures done 3 weeks apart, but you may want to see if you can get them both done at the same time. More importantly, you should make sure your surgeon is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery or the equivalent board in that country (if there is one.) There are many different types of "board certification", but the American Board of Plastic Surgery is the only ACGME accredited Board that certifies surgeons to perform plastic surgery procedures on the whole body. You need to be careful with medical tourism. I see patients on a routine basis who have problems from surgery performed in another country. Their care is difficult and challenging because it was done in another country. Good luck.
You can do both surgeries in one session with one surgeon.3 weeks recovery time is enough for the above procedures. If you wish to separate with two different surgeons then talk with your Doctors to arrange the schedule which one to do first. My point of view in that case is to do the gynecomastia first and then the rhinoplasty.
Thank you for your quesstion. Yes that should be possible. Best to discuss with your surgeon.
Why not do both at the same time with the same doctor? Not sure why you need to go to two different ones and out of the country.
Yes, the procedures could be done separately and three weeks is a satisfactory time in-between. I have often done them together -- there is no problem in doing so.Good luck!Elliot W. Jacobs, MD, FACSNew York City
I would suggest having your surgeries at the same time with a board certified plastic surgeon where you live. Going out of country may present difficulties when you return home if there are complications. It is not uncommon to need a minor touch up after a rhinoplasty.
As you suggest in your question it is much too early to judge your result. The swelling from your surgery is at its maximum in the first 3 weeks so may look very different in a few weeks time. Other possibilities are the presence of extra fluid under the skin called a seroma or even blood a ...
You have gynecomastia up front with puffy nipples. There is no such thing as pseudogynecomastia. It's an unhelpful term, wishful thinking and should be removed from the dictionary.Gynecomastia is the appearance of a female like breast in a man. If your chest looks more like a female chest then...
It's hard to deny that marijuana can be helpful for helping underweight patients gain weight and help with pain. There is some information that suggests that marijuana cause gynecomastia but it's hard to tell for sure. Because gynecomastia is so common in men regardless of their medical...
