Fat transfer nerve irritation around zygomatic bone - what could this be?

I had nanofat injected under my eyes a little over a year ago, and months after the procedure i started having some sort of discomfort near my right eye, around the zygomatic bone. No stiffness but just kind of an uncomfortable feeling there, this is possibly a small nerve damage that was caused by the blunt cannula. Surgeon says it's still safe to get the next fat transfer, and i would like to hear if someone here has any opinions on that.

Patients can have different responses to surgical and intervention. Certain procedures can leave long-term sequel I including discomfort or areas of tenderness.
Typically facial procedures he’ll fairly quickly and what you describe it’s not typical.

There’s no way to give you an accurate diagnosis of exactly what is causing your discomfort. And the end you need to decide if you want more facial fat grafting or not. Is unlikely a second procedure would aggravate your condition or cause it to happen a second time.
Typically things improve with time simply by healing or eventually getting used to permanent changes from surgical intervention.
