I’m 20, 4’11, 98lbs and a 32B. I want to be a 34DD is this possible on me? How many ccs is a 34DD silicone breast implant?

The 32 and 34 refers to the circumference around the chest wall. At size 32 you will not become a 34 but will remain a 32. At size 32, each 100 cc of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. To go from a 32 B to a DD would require 300 cc implants. Implants are not living tissue, are not attached to the body and will descend in time. Also, if you become pregnant, your breasts will stretch. The combination of implants and pregnancy often results in dissatisfied appearance after pregnancies. I recommend you consider the smallest implants as possible.

Depending on the individual anatomy and desired results, estimations and measurements should be made for each patient individually after a detailed mutual conversation. The elements that form up the breast shape and size and the overall frame can be different in each person. Based upon measurements of your chest wall and breast imprint width as well as knowledge of all breast implant sizes and profiles should make this process easy. Try on a profile bra with various silicone cc sizers your PS recommends under a tailored blouse, tank top, bikini, workout clothes, and other garments you typically wear so that you have the best idea of whether the garments fit as desired with the implant selected. Select the size that boosts your self-esteem, and fits your anatomy. Choosing an implant based on an aesthetic goal that exceeds your anatomic capacity may lead to complications and possibly revision.

It is the stretching of your breast tissues from the milk of pregnancy, not the act of breastfeeding that can affect future sagginess. And, what can happen to your breasts can change from pregnancy to pregnancy. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of former patients with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. My patients tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size breast implant is right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the implants have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. Thank you for your question and photograph. Breast implant selection is an exciting, but stressful part of the breast augmentation process as there are so many choices. Unfortunately it is impossible to recommend the best implant style, profile, size or shape without an in-person examination that allows for the measurement of key breast parameters, as well as permits an in-depth discussion as to your desired goals and outcome. I would recommend seeing a series of ASPS board certified plastic surgeons that can allow you to "try on" several different implants so that you can have a better visual representation as to what they would look like. You are quite petite and I would probably go no larger than 400 cc’s. I don’t know if that will give you what consider a DD. In fact probably not. But when someone like you gets huge implants there can be multiple problems including stretching of the skin and sagging.

Thank you for your question. Having a good vision of what you would like your breasts to look like is a great starting point. Without examining you, it is impossible to tell how large you can become in one stage. There definitely is a limit on how big of implant that can be placed and how much your skin will stretch. Some patients who want to have a larger breasts have to have a second stage in which the breast pocket is opened and a larger breast implant is placed at a later time. Best wishes to you.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

You may be an excellent candidate for breast augmentation surgery. Cup sizes are usually quite difficult to calculate as everyone has a different starting point.
It is important to have an in-person assessment regarding your concerns as it is difficult to determine virtually.
There are many different factors that go into choosing a breast implant size which will correspond with your body dimensions while concurrently achieving your aesthetic results. Some of these factors are: Implant size (CC's), Implant profile (Low, Moderate, High), Placement of the implant (Subglandular vs. Dual Plane) etc. We utilize smooth round cohesive silicone gel 'gummy bear' implants for the best results.
During a consultation your aesthetic goals are heard and taken into account with the measurements of your breasts and the integrity of your tissue, as well as level of ptosis (sag). From here we collectively can find your 'perfect fit'. You are able to try out sizers and different implants in our office such that you can get an idea of what size you would be post-operation.
