Answer: Sientra Implants Hi Yaya,I already know you are seeing a board certified plastic surgeon because Sientra only sells to BC plastic surgeons (by ABPS - The American Board of Plastic Surgery) who are members of ASAPS (The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) and or a member of ASPS (The American Society of Plastic Surgeons). So that is great! I agree completely with the knowledgeable answers you have received below. My only caution would be to give it plenty of thought before having an enhancement, because all in all, I think you still look very good as you are in your photo. All the best! "Dr. Joe"

Answer: Any suggestions on implant size and profile for a revision? Thank you for the question and picture. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary breast augmentation surgery (regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you're looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or “nice D cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate.3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery.I hope this (and the attached link) help.

Answer: Mastopexy vs high profile implants for more projection Switching from low profile to high profile implants will improve projection but will make the breasts much larger. From the photos, it appears that the breasts are already quite large so that may not be the most sensible choice. A breast lift can improve projection but will involve some scars. It might be possible to do a periareolar lift to minimize the scarring if done with an internal bra to cone up the breast. This could be done with a material such as SERI Scaffold or GalaFLEX.

Answer: Consider what you want when going for revisions and if you want significantly larger, then higher profile implants would help. If you are happy with size and wish for perky, you must have a mastopexy and be accepting of the scars that come with it. Under no circumstances do you allow someone to talk you into a Benelli lift as it will flatten your projection even more..
