Hello, I am wanting to improve the appearance of my stomach. I am wondering if there is a surgery that could remove the stretch marks from the upper portion of my belly button. I would also be open to a mini or regular tummy tuck if needed. My biggest concern is above my belly button
Answer: Stretch marks Dear Patient306, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. You might need mini tummy tuck in order to remove stretch marks under the belly button. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Stretch marks above the belly button Thank you for posting your question here!My answer will be based on the limited information and pictures provided, for a detailed and bespoke plan I would recommend consulting with a plastic surgeon in person. What you have is a tricky issue , there is no sure way of getting rid of stretch marks other than cutting them off through an abdominoplasty or a similar surgery , unfortunately with your stretch marks being above your belly button , it is hard to get rid of them without you having a lot of loose skin , which from your pictures you don't seem to have. If you end up having a regular tummy tuck you will end up with a small vertical scar below your new belly button position in addition to the traditional horizontal scar.A reverse tummy tuck will remove skin redundancy above your belly button but will likely not address the stretch marks per say and you don't seem to have much redundancy above your belly button.you can always try some RF needling , and laser treatments to improve the appearance of the stretch marks if surgery is not an option , it won't make them disappear but might improve their appearance. I hope this helps, best of luck!
