About 2 days after my drains were removed I developed a hard knot like golf ball size above my incision on my right hip. It’s got bigger within 24 hours and turned purple/green. It stopped getting bigger and is currently about the size of my fist. It’s sore to the touch. It makes me look lopsided on that hip. The dr said he could have hit a blood vessel when he pulled my drain out which bled and clotted. He says it will dissolve on its own. 16dpo and no change. Should I get a second opinion?
