Over 1 year since filler was done - can lumps in smile lines and lip area be from migration? (photos)

Hi! I really need your help. I haf fillers in my smile lines over a year ago and never had any issues. I Also have hypothyroid . My face has been more swollen recently and aldo i have this lump(swollen are) by my lip and smile lines. What could it be? :(

This is filler migration. Has absolutely nothing to do with your thyroid function. It is caused by the runny filler that are commonly used for lip filling. These low G prime fillers do not hold where they are placed. This has given you "lip shelf." I would recommend totally revising you lip filler but here is the thing, many women like their overfilled lips. Just removing the overfill is very difficult because the underlying fillers are runny. In my opinion these need to be removed and replaced with a higher G prime filler. You need a different injector who understands what they are doing.

It looks like your filler could have migrated. I would recommend to schedule a consultation to dissolve it.

It may be that your filler has migrated.  You can consider having it dissolved with hyaluronidase for improvement.  If you do nothing it will gradually improve on its own as the filler is metabolized.
