Being called overfilled and having had a bad job!

Telling you look ugly or that your current treatment is terrible is meant to embarrass you into having service with them. It is a type of gas lighting. Obviously your treatment lasted a very long time. Here is the truth: these products stick around a very long time. They may never entirely disappear. As they age, they hold more water. Eventually that translated into fullness that is seldom helpful. When this volume sits low in the face, yes, it makes you look older than you are. I advise my filler patients that the wonderful clinical effects of filler last about 10 to 12 months. Then it is helpful to top off the service. This cycle may go on for several years. However, by year 3 or 4, the oldest filler begins to hold more water than is ideal. At that point, I will recommend enzyming out as much of the old filler as possible. Once this is settled (about a week) new filler is placed. The key is to have the least amount of filler that gets the job done. I think you will be very happy having your ancient filler service removed. I encourage you to find a less coersive injecting physician.

The results of Restylane dermal fillers typically last 1–2 years, so even if you had been overfilled, that would not be noticeable now 7 years later. Weight gain and your unique facial features can certainly impact the way dermal fillers take effect. However, from your photos, you do not have an “over-injected appearance” but in fact, excellent volume and facial balance.

Unless I am not understanding correctly you had 1cc of Restylane years ago. I doubt that any of that remains. Not sure what you are consulting injector about, but, if they are saying that you are overfilled from 2016 Resylane I would see an experienced physician injector to address your concerns. From what I can see, your face has great volume and does not need fillers. Maybe that is what this person was trying to tell you.
